Who we are

The data controller responsible for your personal data is Floaid Medtech Pvt. Ltd., a company registered in India, with its registered office at IIT Madras Research Park, Kanagam Road, Taramani, Chennai — 600113, Tamil Nadu, India.

What data we collect

We collect personal data only when you choose to give it to us — principally through our contact form. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect special-category or health data through this website.

How and why we use it

We use the data described above for the following purposes:

• To respond to your enquiry — routing your message to the right person and replying to you about clinical partnerships, investment, distribution, press, careers, or other matters you raise.
• To maintain a record of our correspondence and any resulting business relationship.
• To keep the site secure — detecting and preventing spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions.

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and protecting our systems. Under India's DPDP Act, we process your data for the lawful purpose for which you have provided it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate this website, and only to the extent needed:

• Web3Forms — processes our contact-form submissions and delivers them to us by email. Your form data passes through their systems for this purpose. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.
• Our website host — serves this site and may process technical log data such as IP addresses for security.
• Email provider — we receive and reply to your enquiry using a standard email service.

We may also disclose data where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.

Embedded third-party content

Some pages load resources from third parties to function, which means those providers may receive your IP address and basic technical data:

• Google Fonts — for typography across the site.
• OpenStreetMap — the interactive map on our contact page.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use only the minimal storage required for the site to function.

International transfers

We are based in India, and the service providers above may process data on servers located outside your country, including outside the EU/UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers, such as standard contractual clauses, to keep your data protected to an equivalent standard.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage any resulting relationship, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Where we are under a legal or regulatory obligation to retain certain records, we keep them for the period required by that obligation. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see Section 08).

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you have rights over your personal data, including the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your data (“right to erasure”).
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability, where the GDPR applies.
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, as provided under India's DPDP Act.
• Complain to a supervisory authority — the Data Protection Board of India, or your local EU/UK data protection authority.

Children

This website is intended for medical, business, and professional audiences. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
